Locating & Uncovering

We are the only septic service in the area to offer tank location and uncovering. If you are not sure where your tank is, we can usually find it using soil probes and detectors. For especially challenging tanks, we have a line camera with a transponder. Sometimes Rich will even break out the divining rods. Even if you have someone mark where your tank is, you never know for sure until you dig.

A typical order of services could be:

1. Locate and Uncover

2. Pump

3. Install Riser & Lid

4. Backfill the area

You might not need or want all of the above. Every situation is different.

If your tank is buried, we have to charge you each time we dig it up it for you. If you have us install a riser during our servicing before we cover up your tank, you won't need steps 1,3,4 again. See our Riser Installation Service.

Note:

We do not pump through pipes sticking up in your yard. We need the actual lid uncovered and have it pumped from there. Why? Because if you drink a slushie, what gets left behind if you never stir the straw?
